Low-carbon buildings and construction products can play a key role in creating low-carbon society. Cross-laminated timber (CLT) is proposed as prime example of innovative building products, revolutionising the use multi-storey construction. Therefore, an understanding synergy between structural engineering design solutions climate impact CLT essential. In this study, carbon footprint analysed life cycle perspective strategies to optimise are explored through approach, which integrates knowledge from optimised utilisation, connections assemblies, risk management service-life analysis.
